Beak Boater is correct.
Yes , Kaama had some engines done by him.

I've delt with him on a parts only basis and have ZERO problems with him. And will continue to deal with him.
If I was in the market to have some power done I would definitly consider his motors.
If you are talking about the Mistress , I wouldn't shy away from it due to the power.

Geez, Fred, I was only joking! Nice to know about that - does MER have a website or are you advertising the products through Trick?

I have also bought parts from him with no problems whatsoever. Remember that there are always two sides to every story...

I have personally found Jack "Budah" to be a very generous person.

I can only speak for my personal dealings but have found Jack to a great down to earth guy. I buy parts from him and will continue to do so.

Would absolutely never do business with them again or refer them to anyone. There's plenty of information on the board if you run a search.

I'd have to agree with Step. I a personal friend of KAAMA, and knowing his story, I'd shy away from Budah himself, maybe not a boat with his running motors in them, but from his business for sure.

Re: Anyone know what "Budah" engines are?

If you're speaking of the 35 Mistress with the fresh 540 engines I can say that I wouldn't be afraid of that boat with those engines. If I were to consider purchasing the boat I would do an complete engine survey, just as I would on any boat I was seriously considering buying. I would probably consider having the heads pulled, at my own expense and by a technician of the owner's choice, as a condition of the sale.
