Anyone know what "Budah" engines are?

Saw a boat the other day listed as having "Budah 540's" and in the context of the ad it was pretty apparent that the seller thought it was understood what "Budah" engines were. Only problem is that I dont' know what "Budah" engines are - I'm assuming that is the builder. I thought I had heard of most of the big name (and not so big name) engine builders, but this is a new one on me.

Anyone have any info?

Budah

If its the same as Bobby Daniels, former member of this board, is an engine builder in North Carolina. Budah, is the name he goes by on Boatfreaks. org. If its not him not sure who it is.

Could it have been "BullDog" which was a Mercury 540 package?

Budah had some shady dealings on this board. I believe that it involved multiple screen names and him posting against himself in a attempt to create more business. Ultimatly, he was booted which is how his own board came about.

Now I remember, and I know part of Mark's story. Enough to steer me clear of any boat that uses this guy's motors. After all, they might be the greatest hunks of iron in the world, but what do you do if you need work on them? I'd prefer to deal with a stand-up operation - when does Trick Marine start offering motors? :D
