We've been feeling the same "pinch" here in CA for years. Thanks to our great senator Fienswine and Barbara "the b!tch" Boxer telling the US Navy to take "Old Miss" off the waterfront in San Francisco because it symbolized war and death. The Dept. of the Navy began closing basis like Alameda Air Naval, Moffet Field, and Mare Island just to name a few. The Bay Area economy has been hurt badly and unfortunately, will never see the same kind of vitality it had with the US Navy presence.

Now those two fat cows are crying for more Federal funding for CA economic growth.
