MarineMax Dealer... Dallas/Lewisville TX area and beyond...

Seems they have 67 locations nationwide, and sell Baja and Sea-Ray and a few others.

Does anyone have experience with the Lewisvlle/Dallas locations... sales and specifically service? I have a good friend who may pursue working there as a mechanic as they just took on Baja at that location, and he would like to get to a dealer close to him with more go-fasts.

Thanks in advance.

Did they take on Baja at the Lewisville location???? It's a new facility they built and moved into the past year. The new facility is really nice! There was already a a Baja dealer nearby so they only carried SR and Meridian I beleive. They have another location over in Arlington too. Don't know anything about that one.

I think The Slalom Shop just up the Hwy about 1-2 miles has (had?) Baja. They also have Cobalt, Formula and another I think.

The new MM location is right across the street from Phil Dill. Phil carries Crownline, Four Winns and Crest pontoons. They had bought up a handful of Wellcraft (run abouts) from a dealer closing the doors a couple years ago but I think once they sold those they were out of the Wellcraft biz.

I have some experiance with the Service, Sales and Parts departments. I ended up buying preowned boat, but I still talk to the Salesman I worked with every now and then. For the most part the people I've worked with are pretty good. However, although I only had it in one time for service, I don't care to have any more service done their based on the results.

I now drag my boat almost 300 miles to bobl (Full Throttle Marine) for anything that I'm not going to do. Ok, he picked it up last time, but that was just a case of good timing. :D

The Baja franchise had been bouncing around a few dealers in that area. MarineMax did end up with it. Thanks. (edited)

Hey guys, if anyone is looking for your boats to be serviced, XtremeMarine is very good in Dallas. They seem to growing there company. They might be looking for mechanics also. I have had 4 Baja's myself and just bought a 38ZX Donzi from them. There sevice is very competitive and they don't mess around, they have your boat in and out fast. So far in my personal boating experience, they are by far the best I have found.
