Re: Cant leave it alone
After owning my boat for three years, this year I did some small stuff that should give me a few more mph. Nothing major.
Dumped the "silent thunder box" for a clean transom look with new Stainless Marine tips, new more efficient and much LIGHTER exhaust system, and some other odd's and ends's. Saving about 400 or better lbs., and adding maybe 35/40 hp to each motor.
I enjoy cruising at 55/60 as much as hauling azz at 90 (in someone else's boat). Besides with all the work we're trying to do on our house, limited funds available for the boat without Deb hiring a hitman on me. At somepoint I'm going to repower and make a sleeper out of Outlaw.
