Default Cheap MTI?

I just came across this on yachtworld.com
http://www.yachtworld.com/core/listi...75&slim=quick&

seems pretty inexpensive for an MTI. Might be nice for anyone in the market for a 42.

Call them and tell them to keep the drives and engines. Then maybe I can rig it myself.
Love to have that Hull!!! I got just the Hardware for that! Guess I'll keep dreaming.

Whatcha need to know about it?
Hull is stamped a 2002, but was built very late in the year.
575's with BMaxes.

It is actually "not still for sale" but as you know, EVERYTHING is for sale.
Been in salt only a couple of times. 90% of its boating has been freshwater.
Was going to be sold to make room for another 42MTI, but that deal fell thru. A legitimate buyer for this boat would probably make the original deal a "go" again.

Very sweet boat.

I have a #6 42'MTI I would let go without power and drives for $300K that is in great
shape.

Mc, what was Dick Simon's roll in the deal?

42,

J was looking to get the boat some ad time when the RB boat was "being bought". I wasn't aware of the Simon ad. Spoke with J three times over the weekend, and he hadn't mentioned it. I'll drop him a line tomorrow to see.

My guess is that he planted the boat there to test the water (dunno how long it has been on DS site, like I said I was unaware it was on there). I do feel that it would take that to buy the boat to put him in the position he wants to be in for the RB boat.

He'd consider selling less power as well. Bout the same $$ as yours.

Guys, 42MTI's boat is a nice unit by all accounts I've heard. So is the one in the ad.

mc, I don't know if it is on their site but when I clicked on the site above and scrolled down it said for info to contact dick simon.

I'm in about his same situation. I love my boat with no complaints but a new boat would be fun, probably a sit-down MTI. Not sure it would be worth the added expense though.
