Boat transport from San Diego to New England

A friend of mine just purchased a Baja 275 in San Diego and needs it hauled to Mass. (or somewhere there about-he's willing to meet in NY if it keeps the cost down). The boat is on a trailer. Can anyone reccomend someone for this? Thanks.

Have him check with some of the Freight brokers. There are a lot of low deck machinery and freight haulers who come to California with loads and need something to truck back. A boat on trailer will fit the deck on these trucks no problem, I understand the going rate is about $1.50 per mile.
