I wouldn't worry about the temp. in Phoenix, but if it's heading east from there......Most people go north to flagstaff and them east through New Mexico.....I just drove that right after Thanksgiving and as we crossed the Continental Divide it got down to 8*!!!! Keep in mind that Flagstaff is where people from Phoenix go to Snow Ski (there is snow there!) and there are some pretty big Mountains in N.M.!!! Amarillo was COLD to!!! I'd want my boat winterized to make that trip!!!!

Going to Florida from Phoenix, I'd take the 10 through Tucson and across. The 40 sucks this time of year.
