Is that why Ford has that electric tailgate heating option? Keep your hands warm on a cold winter day while pushing your truck. :D :D :D

Uhhhh, let me see. I go to any of the races and look at the tow vehicles. It is Ford over Chevy 5-1. Key West was probably 10 to 1 for tow vehicles.

What is there to thnk about?

thanks for the comments...

I like the fact that chevy has electric 4x4 shift and I don't have to get out of the truck to engage the hubs....any thoughts on this issue?

Sure, Fords new hubs are both electric and manual so you can engage them either way...The best of both world's. :D

I have an '02 GMC HD2500 2wd extended cab wit 8.1 gas and Allison trans. Just turned 100K miles on it last week. Only problem was heater core rupture at 90K miles. Oh yeah, and the 12 MPG. Other than that it is a great truck and I will drive it to at least 150-180K miles.

Go for the D/A 2500HD and add Airbags to the rear. You will be all set. I won't own another truck without airbags, even if I get a dually. They are very nice to have.
