It could also be a candidate for a 'Resin Bucket' thread!

I may have worked on this boats' engines when I first moved down here in 1979 or 1980 for a guy named "Manny". I was pretty naive, just coming from Chicago, and never questioned the "sweet" smell! These boats had a low X-dimension so they would plane-off fully loaded, but never trimmed correctly when light. These "work" boats are few and far between these days. I remember some "Midnight Express" boats with 900 gals fuel capacity.

If I had a couple $$ laying around I'd be interested - can only imagine the history.

Cozzi - gotta watch it, back in the day you were just working on the motors, nowadays, you would be an accesseroy to the crime....

Anybody know if the statute of limitation is past yet?

I'm too old to do time!

"9.5 beam, wide body, 3 man cockpit, 6 fuel tanks, no cabin, large cargo hatches"

My guess is yup.

I called on this a month ago. It was a "work" boat.
It had just been sold to a cigarette collector.
It had a 2nd set of engine hatches behind the bolsters.
