That's Horrible, we had the same thing a few years back here in the Northwest, but the workers at the marina were going to be smart and not let the snow sink the roofs, they decided to get the fire boat and hose the snow off, not only didn't the snow fall off the roofs but it absorbed all the water they sprayed on and just made the roofs go down faster, they just said oops, we were trying to help :eek: :eek:

we had 5 feet of snow in one day last year it brought many storage buildings down. we use a towmotor to put a honda snowblower with tracks on the roof of our building ......works great......

That sucks. But hey most people don't realize just how heavy snow and ice can get up on a roof. I've seen everything from snow blowers on roofs to big roofing blow torches used to melt snow.

They saved a buck by not designing the structure for a snow load. Now look at what happened. :(
