Winter ad browsing and see that Nitro 50 is still alive. Haven't seen it around in an least 15 years. What a beast ... used to see it crash through Lake Mi waves and hardly move. Forgot about that stepped hull.

John Wayne Files boat right? I stopped over his place and looked at it once. He had a couple trailers full of old performance boat parts most pretty old school stuff. Not sure whatever happened to any of it. He also had one of the last big aluminum Cougar cats built.

$89k asking price seems reasonable if the power and drives are relatively fresh, imo.

There is triple engine in SE Michigan that can be bought VERY cheap but would need some work . I do not have the time, space or desire to take the project on.

Would the 50' nitro have an 8' beam?........There are no pictures of the engines. I e-mailed the broker, but recieved no feedback........if it's brokered @ 89K.......probabely could be had for much less..........Mannnnnnn!!!.."I hate when something like this comes by!"
