That's too recent. Muscle started racing in B class in 1996. Fever started probably 10 years before then.

Another great B boat was Dragon Lady. And of course, my favorite, Mr. Technology.

okay, thanks for the update!! I used to watch the races at Pt. Pleasant every year. They were great races. I am from Morristown, N.J.

The B Classes actually started to falter when the canopied B boats came into existence.

They look like Super Vees to me.

Same thing happened to A Class. Damn that Will Smith

Speaking of Buckshot. They'll be featurered in the next issue of EBM magazine.

If you want to go back in time, look at all the boats that raced with APBA in 1996.

Or in simplier times, the classes were very straightforward, Production with the 280hp/350 cu.in MerCruiser(s) and TRS Drives, or earlier Volvo 270/280's, then Modified, like the 27' Magnum Sport's with small block tunnel rams, and #2 Speedmasters, and Finally Open Class. Your point on canopies was good, tehnology certainly went crazy in the past 10 years with performance. I do like F-1, an F-2 classes,
