THey are a pig w/ the 3.0 L (standard power then). 4.3 or 5.0 would be cool.

Now that would be fun, i have a355 sitting on a stand now that would make that thing fly, just over 400 hp

those are sweet i think they also make a 21 if i'm not mistaken. i would put like a 598 in it what's the v on that boat 20/22 ?

Hey Stinger, my first boat was a Mini Hawk too. Similarly, mine was painted to resemble my Aunt's Kaama.

We had a number of Mini Hawks and Couger Cubs at the shop. We took one of the hawks, added a 40hp Johnson. To make it more interesting, we added a transom block to raise the motor up about 8". It was a bit (lot) squirly but we got 50+ mph out of it.

We use to take them out to the Norskog race in Lake Mead. We would have the 40' Scarab (Revenge at the time), John's 30" Wellcraft Cat and a set of Kaama painted Cubs and Hawks in a caravan. It was a cool sight.
