Re: pop your cherry?
Blew my port drive during the Aug. 03 Sarasota Offshore Showdown Race.
I idled up to my "south" course leader, talked to Brian for about fifteen seconds, shifted up to forward to leave, and the boat started doing circles, port drive was stuck in reverse.
Long trip back to the Hyatt on one motor. Got passed by a Pontoon Boat, considered shooting myself.

I was thinking of building an extension on my trailer to protect my boat in that situation, but I see it has to be REALLY strong to do the trick. I can't believe it folded up like that. What hit you? A Mack truck?

XR uppers, IMCO sportmaster lowers, IMCO guts, TNT billeted cap. Have not toasted one yet. (knock on wood). But I am sure there is one in my future.
