Re: The new speed record?
My best guess is that the panache' of breaking the 200 mph barrier in a V-Bottom is out there and close to possibly becoming reality. Reggie is 23mph away from doing it in a one way pass. My feeling is that it is not a priority at this moment. But who knows.

Is Outerlimits still using Sterling power? I thought I read Racecrafters was going to supply the engines?

Re: The new speed record?
The rumor is Reggie has already been above 180 ,But he has a new longer hull for the next round. I figure 189-193mph.
Just think if they hit a wake at those speeds  . Mike has a little kid now to think about,is it worth it? |
Re: The new speed record?
Just curious...
The Pamlico is a river. Anyone know if there is any substantial current running down the river? That might explain how one of his record passes was higher than the other |
Re: The new speed record?
Awesome boats and an awesome run & record, but if they keep this up someones gonna get killed, and that will be a shame & a great loss to the powerboating community.
