Dave911, even though there have been some employment cutbacks in west Michigan it's still a great place to live and there are a lot of opportunities here. Let me know if I can help in any way. I can send you some real estate info if you'll let me know basically what you're looking for in housing.

How about Lake George N.Y. ? The average shack is 1.5 mil. Boating lasts
about 4 months. Taxes are 8-15 K per year. Pretty much no jobs local.
But the water is crystal clear, the mountains are beautiful, the beer flows
freely and you couldn't meet better people if you tried. I wouldn't want
to be anywhere else.

Give me a better idea of what you do and are looking for and maybe I can help point you in a direction.

I work out of Dallas, Texas for a company named Data Return. We provide highly managed hosting for companies critical applications and e-commerce sites that can not go down. We provide a service license agreement at the custom code / application layer unlike other hosting providers.

Is Kawasaki Motors hosting their sites internally or outsourcing to a hosting provider?

Data Return??? I used to work with someone that went to work there several years ago. I think he's since left though. He did prety well with options, but I took a bath in DR stock. At least it helped when tax time came in the form of a capitol loss. :D

Looks like we have a couple of things in common. Bob L. just rebuilt my motors as well last winter.

OK... Let me try this again..

Lake Travis - Austin, Texas

60+ miles long, very deep, rock bottom, very clear, very clean, topless party cove, nude beach/cove, useable all year long, local boat mechanic (Bob Lloyd), great town nearby...

Anything else you're looking for? :D
