The U-17 and U-19 were great boats, my uncle sold them when they came out and now sells Donzi's. I rode in the U-17 but haven't been in a classic yet, but he tells me that the difference in handling between the two makes is negligible.
I can see where a DP drive would be a handful on those boats. Our 22' is a foot and a half wider and sometimes you have to be careful!

The windscreen does help quite a bit to keep the wind out of your face. You still obviously get wind though, mainly on the forehead. LOL

Wasn't this the boat that ejected Teague and Eric Colby during their evaluation run? That might be where the attitude came from!

I have a lot of hours both in the passenger seat and behind the wheel on these boats. The only "quirk" they have is chine walking, especially in flat water, which can easily be corrected with driver input.
