Heard The 06 Z06 Is Going To Be Available This Fall, But Just Wondering If They Can Be Preordered And If There Is A Price Yet, I Saw 65,000 In The Magazines. Looks Like A Hell Of A Machine.

Naw, it does not have a badge that says Ferrari, BMW or Porsche. Hence, folks are already in line to denounce it as "same as a Chevette, an American tacky car"

A friend works at a dealer that is a big Corvette seller. He says it will be ~$75K. They are taking deposits and generating a list......I have 2 friends already on the list.

I just talked to him....they will sell at MSRP. They've taken 6 deposits, but are only getting 5-10 cars this year.

I just talked to a friend at a dealership in TX and he thinks they will be under 70K Also he tells me there is a rumour on the street of a HP RWD replacement for the Camaro in the works.

I suppose the LS2 6.0 Litre(400 h.p.) engine will be standard in the '06 Vette...Will the LS7 7.0 Litre(500 h.p.) be available as an option? Anyone have any input? Thanks, Ed
