Question Tips on stepped hull

I just moved from a DCB mach22 to a 27' stepped hull fountain. What tips do I need to know about running this type of boat?

Did you watch the Video from Fountain on how to drive your boat? - If you didn't get one ask your dealer for one.

Don't trim down in turns.

Oh, and welcome to OSO.

I have a 26' with a big step, neutral trim and keep enough power applied in turns
I use a bravo 4 blade tried a 3 and it blows out too much in the turns, your boat may differ on this. gradually work your way up and get the feel of how it responds.
because they are easy to spin out/flip. And as Officer Troutly says wear your gear.
be safe.

Same advise as above.
See you are a long time lurker. Good to have another Fountain owner on board. Enjoy

Now taking bets as to how long it is before you are told there is no difference as they are both 22' boats.
