Bahama's

A one day trip or cpl of nite trip to the Bahama's .... I know its like 47 miles from West Palm to West End ....and when you get there you have to check in to customs ...any know of a ballpark figure of what the Fee's and Tariff's are ?

I heard it was kicked up to around $300.? You could email Florida Powerboat Club, they'll know.

Thanks Guys ... just talked to my Brother who goes every year for 2 weeks in a 38 sailboat said 100 under 40' and 300 over 40' ....

Hey offthefront,

Just saw your post and thought this might help a bit... The price for 35' and under is $150 and over 35' is $300... For the price you do get a second entry within 90 days... I spend quite a bit of time in the Bahamas and might suggest going to Lucaya rather than West End since there is basically nothing to do at WE... Take a look at the attached link and I think you will find it the most economical and friendly area... Marina is great and Pelican Bay has an 800 number which will give you lower rates on the rooms... Any questions just give a yell...
