Little bit .... they are 20# more then a comparable 'Doo ... We'll see ... I've been riding 600 and 700 class sleds for the last 1/2 dozen years , so we'll see how I like this one ??? My experience with sleds is ... once you ride a certain sled a couple times you get used to it , and then you like it . I rode a new F7 last year and HATED it !!! But the guy riding said he felt the same way for the first few hours on it .... eventually he got the hang of it and loves it ... One thing I've always liked about the Yamahas is that they were "easy" to ride ... I'm about 160# so I don't have too much to throw around ... Like I said ... We'll see ????

I'm riding a 470# V Max and I like being able to toss it around... I'm only about 175 or so most days.... so the idea of a sled weighing in nearly 100 lbs more makes me think twice about getting one. That and the MONEY they want! Sheesh!! I rode an F7 a few weeks ago... fun in a straight line, but don't try to turn one on a tight trail.... skis in the air, front end all over the place... fast but scary!!! Great lake sled... gimme my Yammi in the twisties though....

The group I'm riding with this coming weekend:
05 Rev 800 HO (MitchStellin)
04 Rev 800 HO (OSO member "what's his name"... I can never remember)
01 SRX 700 (rambunctious)
97 V Max 600 (me)
?? Polaris something or other modded I'm sure (26 Scarab)
?? Polaris something or other (26 Scarab's dad)

Mixed company for sure.... just no cats!!!

Speaking of Yamaha's did you ever have a Vmax 4 Jerry? I had a couple of them and then went to a SRX. Most of my buddys are on RX1's, but a few of them are still on SRX's. I was going to go up soon but am going to florida instead, I am doing that more often, so I haven't upgraded my sled, yet. Steve
