Default Duramax Suburban Quotes

What do yall think?

Jim,

Thanks for the email about the Suburban conversions. We can build you a 2001 or 2002 duramax Suburban with around 75k miles, with allison transmission, plus body lift and new exhaust, 9000lb hitch, ready to go for 45- to 50,000.00
We are located in Denver, and you would need a 5000.00 non refundable deposit. It would take roughly 2-4weeks to find a donor vehicle and a suburban that meets my standards, and the conversion will take 4 to 6 weeks, weather and parts providing.
If you would like to set something up or talk more about it, let me know.
We would recomend, however, 2 additional items which adds a little bit to the price quoted. Specific 285/75/16 Michelin LTX M/S tires and custom 4" exhaust with 5" tip. Also, we can of course install video systems etc. But a high deposit would be required for more customization.
But either way , we want your business!!!

Please call me asap at 303-888-XXXX

I have a white 2001 that will be ready in 2-3 weeks. Prepurchase price 46,995.00
When it is complete it will go on ebay with a min bid, and I am sure it will top 50k on this one.

Thanks again for the interest and look forward to working with you.

That's one way to do it. You could always do it yourself, probably for much less, depending on what you're time is worth.

I don't know, but 2001 duramax conv Burb w/75,000 miles for $47K Sounds too high to me .... and I'm assuming the donor vehicle would be a 3/4 ton 2500 ... right??

My 2001 2500 Burb w/496, every friggen option (DVD video/wireless headphones), 40,000 miles, I bought for $24K last year! Safely assume (again ) it would be less this year, or now. So the conversion they're saying is about $25K?! Not taking into account the value the 496 engine/tranny package could get on re-sale.

Just IMO .... hmmm #'s make sense to you masher??

No way!! It is high! My guy is working on getting me the color I want on the Excursion and it is LOADED for 44,700. I will do that before I pay MORE for a very used Chevy!

But then you have to drive not only a Ford, but a diesel without an Allison behind it.
