82 would be really fast. Kinda makes ya wonder about stability if it gets that loose & quick. To put it in perspective, the 2002 Sunsation 288 I used to have with a 496HO ran at 67-68 with 69.4 being it's fastest with a 24p stock 4-blade, and the Suns are not too shabby in the speed category.
I'm sure there's some west coast boats that would do well but I really don't know squat about'em... |

I know my partners 27' Fountain Fever with a 496 HO can't break 70 down hill behind his Suburban, 12 miles an hour faster in a Nordic with a cabin? I doubt it, anything is possible, I'm sure fountains aren't the fastest boats (well maybe they are......171?). Do you think one of Reggies boats could be out done by 12 miles an hour? Thats one fast Nordic........... 3 feet shorter but three feet of that 27' Fever is that silly point in the front. :evilb:

I could be wrong but I find it hard to believe the nordic can produce that kind of number. What is the dry weight and is that with an XR? I run a 26 Corsa with a 496HO XR sick X dimension and can see 72 74 GPS running O so loose no cabin under 3200 lbs

Where's Krakmeup? His 2005 Superboat ran 74.1 (gps) out of the box with a non-lab Bravo 26. Has a 496HO and a Bravo x drive.

Superboat is a true 30'er. In my book that's a good # for 30' and 425hp. I know there's Phantom and Extreme (Activator 27') also, but thier hight and cabin size don't compare if it's used as a pleasure boat!
