The Superboat is a good choice. That narrow beam cuts right through the rough stuff. Don't regret your choice, John makes a solid boat. And it looks good too.

I am not saying that Superboat is bad at all. I have a friend who has one of the first Y2K's that was built and it runs in the low 90's with outboards. So obviosly they do run. The way you started the thread it sounded like you did not even look at the other builders. But I do see you have your opinion on all of them. Good Luck with your purchase and thanks for spending money on this little Island.

I think the Y2K is approx. 80 MPH with HP500. So, the Activator does 95?

Ya Dave I was wondering about that 15mph thing also. When I saw Superboat and Activator running in the same F1 race they were equal from what I saw.
