I've only spoken to him on the telephone a couple of times but he always took the time to answer my questions and take the call !

Oh well, I guess it depends if you are buying or selling.

Just my word or warning.

pm me for copy of email.

I've known Philly since he was a kid. I don't think there is a straighter, nicer guy in the business than Phil. Look at it this way; if Joe Blow had a boat for sale that you knew was tainted for some reason and a customer asked about it, would you bad-mouth the boat, or try to steer him to something better. Phil is probably better able to pick a boat for the average guy than the average guy is!

Just to be clear .... this guy cigarette is not cigarette1 and his 2000 T/S is not the 2000 F2 T/S that I am selling.

A guy called me last week inquiring about my boat. He said he saw it on the Lip-ship website and called Phill. Instead of Phill grabbing him to sell another boat, he gave him my number because he knew I was selling ... very cool, thanks Phil ...boat is still for sale.

Does this boat look familiar? How many hours are really on your boat? What is the really history? I smell a rotten apple.

Not knowing Phil I can't comment (though over the years have heard nothing but positive comments, would love to buy one from him one day)
but anyone in sales can attest to the fact that you are required to deal with all types and personalities to earn a living. Some see a salesman as an adversary from the word go - they are taking "my money". You can bend over backwards, try and educate, steer in the best direction for their situation and with some people its still not enough, your going to get negative feed back from some and thats life. Make your own decisions based on the body of some ones work over all and your personal experience with them.

Good boating.

Not to mention a hull-kicker and a stroker that wastes your time.
