Concept has quite the display, 5 - 6 boats in their own tent.... Sick paint jobs as always... MTI OK, I know nothing about there various models, but you have go to see "Speed Racer" to believe it.. OMG, three of the coolest boats ever in there booth, details to follow.. Nortec 36 Cat, # 6 drives... New 3900 Super Vee.. Bravo XR-ITS 43 Cat, # 6 drives BIG vee... 3 x XR's.. Velocity 39 - 40 something vee, 1/4 canopies, incredible paint.. Nice as hell boat.. Hustler 388, twin turbo mills with Arnesons 45? Triple Turbo Diesels, Arneson drives.. Not positive on the diesels, but fairly sure.. Talon cat, Ilmor V-10 and Imco drive.. Midnite Express 39, 4 x 300X 39, 3 x 275 Verado OL has two boats, Black Thunder has a boat, Dragon has a boat, Fountain has a fleet. No one had hatches open today except for the ones I could reach, so engine reports will have to wait.. Did spot the new Merc 850SCI... Sweeet!! More to follow :drink: :D |

It's a "mellowed" down version of the 1075 .... Baja is supposed to be doing a 36 with a pair of them .... don't know if it'll make the show or not .

Just a little more info on the MTI Speedracer. I haven't seen it but I have talked to Gart Stray, Randy's partner, He said the boat was pretty incredible, it is a 44 PR version same as randy's boat on the cover of Powerboat this month. It has fuel injected, QuadRotor, Sterlings, 1530HP.He made a lot of custom pieces to make it look like the cartoon and lots of custom paint in the bilge.Also the boat will be kept at LOTO and should run in the shoot-out this yr.
I can't wait till tomorrow to get fown there. |
