1988 Cigarette Bullet what's it worth
Clean 1988 Cigarette Bullet, what is it worth with 330's and bravos? What speed would you see with that combo, and what motor/drives would it take to run mid to high 70s?
I think the guy is ask nuts money for the boat, just trying to see if I'm on the right page.
Thanks

I would say low 60's for speed.
Probably 600's to get it solid in the high 70s. Bravos will work if you aren't nuts on it.
Price...beats me. Some bullet owners will chime in. Lets see how close I am.

550 HP will get you about 77-78. 454 Mags will run 63-64 mph. One with 330's should be in the 55-58 mph range
There are alot of descent ones out there in the $40-60K range, but you are going to do some upgrades on them for them to be worth 70 K.
There are also a few overpriced ones out there, but they have been for sale for a looong time.

330's ?? Yuck, not very wise having those in there. Yep, upper 50's for speeds.
As far as $$ with original ( dated ) paint and 330's, IMO upper 30's is being fair.

I was in shock when they told me they wanted $59,900 for it. I had been thinking mid to high 40s tops. It's a shame because I really like the graphics, but just not worth having it with that power.

There is a OSO member (+ a nice guy) that has a cherry...no SUPER CHERRY Bullet for sale...may have original graphics (that can be changed easily and cheaply) but the vessel is sound I believe his phone number is (631) 849-3435.
If I was to do it again...I would truely consider this one and consider switching 2 bigger power in the winter or maybe some procharger until the engines get tired.
Were you looking at the one with the Mitcher t graphics...its been for sale awhile asking some serious moneys...I think he really like it....Nice piece
Good luck

The 330's are a 2 bolt main block with crappy heads. The '89 I have has the 365 mag's 4 bolt mains ready to be upgraded very easily with cam, intake, exhaust. Both engines are tight & ready for an upgrade. Thank Wyatt. Make me an offer, your getting a nice boat @ a great price.
