Price for new 22 Scarab in 1998

Does anyone have an idea what the new purchase price was back in 1998 for a 22' Scarab? Equipped with tabs 454MPI Bravo. I was just curious.

I remember a quote of about $27k on a trailer with a 7.4l. When I wanted one 3 years ago, I paid $24.5 on a new custom trailer, a stong 9. I had a hard time finding a nice one with the graphic's I wanted with a big block bravo. Doug
