I think the boat would really handle better with a setback platform. AN Armstrong ought to do the job just fine!! More leverage, and makes the boat feel bigger.

Those are the new style surface drives, and there will be a stepped bottom version coming out soon, good for a few more mph. but might spin out, you know those stepped hulls are too dangerous!!!! :evilb:
