Default Info on a 36 Skater in New Jersey

Doc John... who's ineptitude with a computer is rivalled only by his competence as a dentist as asked me to do the research on this Skater that is for sale in New Jersey.
I have left a message with the gentelmen who has it for sale and am doing my home work that way.

I would like some input from fellow OSO'ers who are familiar with this ride.

The boat is a 1998 in the classified here:
http://www.offshoreonly.com/esvon/page-3654.html
and is for sale in Forked River, NJ. If you can either inform me here, by PM or call me on my cell at 802-734-8284.

Come on T2x Call me about this. It's in your neck of the woods.

This is the old Nauti Marine boat once owned by Dave Scott. When this owner bought it I believe he purchased it without power and the late great Doug Lewis and his Staff at Professional Marine rerigged it with Mercury 525's. T2X could give you more info as could the Staff at Professional Marine Racing in Bricktown, NJ. This boat is really maintained well and still looks really great. A good buy for someone who is interested.

Thats the boat David Scott won the Ozark Shoot-out with for a couple of years. It had to be one of the most dialed in boats of all time!! The first year it ran something like 142mph, the next year 143, then I think he broke 160mph in that boat, then the story goes that JT talked him into a canopied version for futher record runs!! The rest is History!!

Actually that would be a piece of history in it's self!! Very Cool Boat!!!

Gl, as Doc John's friend aren't you a bit concerned about getting him in more rig than he can handle? Knowing what he has for experience under his belt and all?

Yes, that is the boat that went 181. PM Kilokat (David Scott) on the board. He should be able to give you all the details you need.

Call Dale at Professional Marine Racing in Brick NJ. He helped rigged the boat and knows it inside and out. When I saw it last year, it was as mint as you could expect for a 98 boat.
