215 is fine if you get the chart chip (wich are discontinued) and it is however pretty basic. Considering what has come out since then.

I am sure our setups are identical.

I might be able to hook you up if you keep the 215. I have a 225 and it does a fair job, the newer ones are awful sweet though.

GLH you should check out RayMArine. I just bought the C80 for my new boat. It is comparable in price to the higher end Garmins but I believe is a better unit.. The antenna is very sleek. Low profile and white. The unit has a crystal clear screen and is easy to use. Just my .02.

It's on my radar also (pardon the pun) but most new rides (OL, NorT, Cig)these days are coming out with Garmins I am not big on going off the beaten track (always considering re-sale). Also if the receiver I currently have works than no way am I installing anything different.
