Re: Gibson Exhaust
GL, I didn't think you guys on Champlain had noise issues, or is it only on the Vermont side? I always wondered how those holes got in the trees. Doug

As waterfoul said a lot of big inch engined boats on the west side are running those "Dong's" ....most appear to be homemade.....Fred

Re: Gibson Exhaust
I received my clamp-on Gibson 4" dia. x 1 ft. straight extensions last week. They are sweet and bolt-on in a matter of minutes, couldn't of been any easier. I bought them from www.tsetruckstuff.com for $71.95 each after calling all over for the lowest prices. Just get the part number for the turn down style tips and give them a call @ (800) 330-9780, very nice guys and had my order within a week. They offered email confirmation and tracking info before I was even off the phone from placing the order. Highly recommended... I'll be curious what they will price these turn downs at, please post price if anyone orders them. $6.00 flat shipping too for all 4 tips. :D

I am just trying to avert trouble cause we have more and more rigs on the Lake and they'll start testing one day... and I just know which will be the first rig they'll test. |
Re: Gibson Exhaust
Do they have a muffler inside of the 'dongs' or or they just a piece of bent pipe? Either way.... that's a LOT of coin for some bent metal.
