Elkhart IN – March 23, 2005 – Due to differences in business practices and principles, The Art of Design has severed relationships with Cigarette Racing Team effective immediately. The Art of Design had been doing graphics, design and painting for Cigarette Racing Team for the past three years. In fact, at the 2005 Miami Boat Show, some of the Cigarette boats on display were decked out with graphics designed and painted by The Art of Design.
The Art of Design’s president, Dean Loucks, has stated publicly that his company is no longer affiliated with the Cigarette Racing Team. “Our designs and our graphics will no longer be available on Cigarette boats.”
Founded in 1990, The Art of Design has specialized in high tech graphics and imagery for a variety of businesses including BASF, Valvoline, Saturn, Prevost Motorcar, Coastal, Tsunami, Magic Bar and Unilube to name a few. The ability to scale art to any size makes TAOD unique. Utilizing various techniques to create complete corporate images The Art of Design takes on unique and demanding projects that range in size from business cards to railroad cars.
