Re: Anyone boat in South carolina?

we are in chas. temporarily and boating with powerboats is definitely different from Fl. The water here sucks. On a waterway map it is called the dismal swamp. They definitely don't like powerboats much here.

You might want to try Fred (Too Old) although he's had many boats, rumour has it he's never actually used one LOL :p

Plumbers crack, I live in Myrtle Beach, SC and we have rivers, the Intracoastal Waterway, and the Atlantic Ocean with pretty good landings at all. They are not a lot of offshore type boats her but I do not know of any noise problems,Ect. I have a Sonic 358 with 525's flowing exhaust straight out of the CMI's and haven't had any problems in SC or NC. I also have a place on the Intracoastal Waterway close to Southport, NC. It is about a 2 1/2 - 3 hour boat trip north. It is also a very nice area up there. I am on the Waterway and an inlet is only about 3 miles away. You can also go south to Charleston which also makes for a very nice boat trip.
