Yeah, try paying for dr's visits and prescriptions. Seems that's all I've done the last 2 months. Hate being sick. And your over there in Canada the roads are better than ours too.

We in Ontario pay a health care tax to the tune of about 800 bucks a year slapped onto the rediculous taxes we already pay.I wouldn't mind paying to see a doctor because now, its free, well most of the services are but it takes forever to get an appointment and god help you if you need to see a specialist. Many are booked solid for 1 to 2 years. Free drugs....NOT . Not even close but ya, our roads are better, well some of them anyway.

$1.20 on 20 gals adds up quick in a day, plus now days everybody pumps their own gas, so theres no labor to pay out. I'd say that's fine for a station owner to make that kind of money, after all they maintain everything. It's the dam State & Gov. that have their fingers in on everything. I'd really like to know exactly how a $1 bill is split up.

try to insure a gas station and you still have to pay for delivery of the fuel, everybody uses credit cards, and it isn't free to process those.. drive offs rise dramatically when prices go up.... stations don't want fuel this high either...
and .03 or .04 a gallon when it is 1.30 is not far off percentage wise when gas is 2.25-40 like it is or will be soon...

it also used to show the tax rate on the pump, i haven't seen that lately, probably don't want to show us how they are screwing us....
