Which to buy?

Which ones of the following should I get?
Thinking more on the lines of the quick cleats, but the cost savings of the mushrom cleats is half the cost :)
They would ONLY be used for fenders. Looking at three per side.
anyone using either of these?

The mushroom cleats?

the mushrooms actually work better, they have downward spring tension that holds the loop in your line better. you have to tie a knot to get em to stay on the quick cleets. I also like the look of the mushrooms better.

I have the quick cleats and like them alot. When they are not in use you can barely see the female portion on the boat. It looks like a thru hull fitting. The male end is permanently tied to the bumpers so, I just have to push them in when I need them. But, they are pricey.

The quick cleats actually do sit FLUSH?
They look like it protrudes when not in use. Maybe its just the picture tha showes this :(

I like the idea of having the pin attatched. Always the same distance, fast and convenient to plug it in and go.
But for what I want to accomplish they are almost 500 bucks :(

I would buy the mushroom. I'll bet I could brake those other ones.

Quick cleats. Tie the bumper once and you're done. Outerlimits have several.

Yea, the female side is basically a stainless thru hull fitting with a hollow threaded shaft and large washer and nut to sandwich it between the fiberglass. It lays flush when the pin is not inserted. I like the plug in and go also-tie them once and your done. I have 4; two on each side by the windscreen so I can plug them in quickly without leaving the helm and two on each side by the rear cleats.
I bought mine from Eddie Marine about $70,00 each.
I think they sell them in colors?
