Re: Check out this movie trailer
Guys,
Madison the Movie has been "in the can" for 3 or 4 years, and for some reason, no distributors were interested in releasing the movie, which is ridiculous. Those of us who do race and poker run know how exciting boat racing is. If this movie does well, maybe we will see more marine motorsports on the big screen. I certainly hope so.
What seems to have given the movie new life is Jim Cavaziel.
After starring in the very successful "Last Passion of the Christ", he has become a hot commodity, and his former works, like this one, now have more "marketability".
The movie is scheduled for release in early April. Jim has been in town (Nashville) plugging the release here. I don't know why Nashville has been targeted, except that we are hosting our 1st Unlimited race this coming September.
Having grown up in Kentucky, and being a boat racing fan, I went to many of the Unlimited races in Madison, and they were something to see. I'm sure they still are, even though I haven't been in years.
Good luck to Miss Madison.
Regards,
Steve
