Mt Dora Antique Boat Show
Great Antique boats--including some older "ceegar" boats. These folks really take these seriously.

Re: Mt Dora Antique Boat Show
We were there yesterday with a Donzi group. We didn't get to look over the show, we mostly were bs'ing with the group. We may take a ride back there today to check out the show more. We were there last year too.

Re: Mt Dora Antique Boat Show
I do as well too...
I also like the sweet sixteen Donzi tied up to the bulkhead. Man that brings back some memories of easy days and full tanks of gas paid for by the old man!!!!!!!!!

Re: Mt Dora Antique Boat Show
Southwest Harbor, Maine, hosted the "Antique Boat Show" two years in a row and it was just incredible. Over a hundred of those beauties both years. Some of the finishes on those boats look ten ft. deep.
There was one, guess one of the original "ceegar" boats with the big chrome pipes coming out both sides of a "cowling" that was said to run about 65 mph. Did not see it run but did hear it idling at the dock. A very very healthy rumble to it.
If I wasn't so damn busy building cabinets I'd run up there today.
Nice pix Joe, thanks for posting those.
