Congratulations Sarasota Area

We came down last weekend to Sarasota from the Carolinas for the Velocity Fest Fun Run. We had an awesome time and enjoyed the fine people from Velocity and the area of Sarasota. The people there are very accomodating and helped in various ways. I love the area and the fact that the boating there is fantastic. The weather is also a very nice factor. Hope to come back there for the Poker Run America event in April if the work schedule does not mess me up.

Special thanks to the Velocity Owners Group for putting on the event and the Holiday Inn Airport and Marina, for the accomodations and the Mar Vista in Long Boat Key for the lunch.
Can not beat Florida weather for this time of year boating

If ya like running hard and fast their are always race teams streching out their hardware across Sarasota Bay, so you can run right along side of them. Thats what makes the area and the beautiful water a boating mecca. That's why PRA starts there season and ends their season in Sarasota.

Frank, you're gonna love the new bridge (John Ringling Causeway) you don't have to slow down....:drink: :drink:

I know, but not everyone is as focused as me when running hard not to mention (DA LAW) looking for someone to give them a reason to light it up.

The key is not go under the bridge directly in the middle where the channel is. You can go through any of the sections off to either side for maybe six sections and there's plenty of water. Went under it two times out ago at around 70. It was pretty cool.

Think I'd be a little scared going it under WOT in your boat though. :drink:
