Fuel Tax in Fl.

Can you apply for Gas Road tax reimbursement in the state of Fl.? Now that I have a twin screw boat, I'm keeping all my boat gas receipts in hopes of being able to recover the Road tax portion.
Thanks,
Dean

I thought fuel sold on the water wasnt taxed the same? At least diesel is which is why it says "Off Road Diesel" on the pumps. i thought gas was the same.

I beliece he is talking about fuel that he buys at the station with the boat on the trailer wich is still cheaper than buying untaxed fuel at the marina. And no I don't believe you can get that money back once you buy the fuel. They do sell offroad Gasat some places though. There is a company called Taylor Potroleum that carries it and if it is atleast 150 gallons they will deliver for free. If not you can go to them and get it. there are fuel companys like this all over the state just look under fuel oil in the yellow pages and im sure you can find someone in your area that will sell to you.
