dont think there is any standard software for things like that. i use Corel10 for my graphics and all of my templates are custom. what kind of hull style do you need. i may be able to convert them into a different type of file that you can open in Word or somthing but you would have to do your graphics the old fasion way ( pencil ) i think there was a thread a few weeks ago on this, you may want to do a search. i lost treck of it so i dont know if any thing came of it.

You could go to a few of the manufacturers websites to choose different color schemes, them customize them to you likings. Sunsation has a good site to view different graffic packages.

CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator are probably your best choices, but both have fairly steep learning curves. I assume you mainly want some semi-accurate way to visualize possible new color schemes for your boat, so unless you intend to get into the graphics biz, Dave's suggestion would be mine as well. An easy way to make your own templates would be to print photos, trace the contours on tracing paper, and then scan or make copies. It's difficult to draw with a mouse, and unless you have a graphics tablet, a set of colored pencils would be an easier method.

I used Illustrator. It worked well for me. But you have to know what you are doing, which is true about any software you will try to use. I suggest to go to a good designer. Some will cost less the than the cost of the software.

I have used http://www.rr-custompaintworks.com/. Randy is on Discovery Channel all the time and has some awesome ideas.
