Re: Skater Records?
APBA & SBI used to list their records independantly. Now, I'm not certain where you can find them since the new "combined" web page does not have them listed. You might call JC and ask.

Re: Skater Records?
What record do you want to know about?
The APBA/UIM Stock class Kilo record is around 118 held by the open cockpit 28' Skater Cat Can Do powered by twin 2.5s throttled by Mark Pohlker. The was done in NC a few years back.
Another 28' Skater canopied boat in Europe ran something like 132 with TRIPLE 2.5's these were the last generation 2.5 sometimes called 260's. The was the Vulture Ventures boat. I think they also set a propane fueled record with the same boat in a different configuration.
Pound for pound the Open cockpit 28' Skater is un-touchable when it comes to top end speed. 115 plus is obtainable with either 2.5s or 300's. Bang for your buck it's the baddest OFFSHORE boat there is.

Re: Skater Records?
Thanks for the info. I remember seeing various kilo records ect...posted on here a while ago. It looked like it was from the APBA or UIM site. Anyway, thanks again.

Re: Skater Records?
These are our official kilo records which are based on average speeds - not the highest recorded on gps, etc. (1) 36' pleasure Skater, 180.233 one way, 176.162 two way average; (2) 36' race Skater, 202.907 one way, 198.570 two way average.
