Yes, the states have a reciprocal agreement on sales tax. When I titled it in OH, they didn't charge me the state tax, just the .75% difference

I showed them the document in the link I provided above and they are going to confirm, we left them with a check in the event there are any problems. It's not a lot of money, so I'm not too concerned. We towed the boat home yesterday. We are using our Delaware address even though it's not our primary residence. We are told that if we use the boat there for more than 50% of the time, that's where it should be registered. Will keep you posted as it unfolds.
