Where in N Il. are you I have made that run to loto from the south side of Chicago about 100 times I know every back way to the lake I have a route that takes almost 30 miles off the trip if you don't mind 2 lane hwy. Have done it plenty of time pulling a 35ft fountain and never had a problem. You would need hrs to try and get the whole low down on loto, but check out www.funlake.com there is tons of stuff on the site to check out. I have a favorite place to stay right accross the street from the horney toad (bar/rest) that is great for both kids and adults alike Aqua Fin condos. I say stay away from the houseboat for you 1st time down lots of work and they are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO slow to move down the lake. Let me know if you have more ??? how long are you staying might see you down there.....

Any recommendations for R.V. accomodations for the shootout? Only 30 foot long, not looking for anything fancy. Would just like to be somewhere near the action without getting hassled.

Probably just the R.V. the first time. Would have to tow the boat with seperate vehicle if I bring it. (38 Formula but 5000# tow limit on R.V.)

Thanks, Sean! Noticed several campgrounds/R.V. parks. Any that are better or closer to the shootout location?

Chris

Gots a generator, but might take you up on the long driveway! I will let you know if I can get down there. Sounds like a blast!

Thanks again,

Chris
