Default CMI header leaks

I just installed my CMI's and have heard about the possibility of the headers developing small crack and leaking water into the cylinders.
YIKES!
Is there any EASY way to check this prior to heading out for the weekend?
If the header does leak into the cylinder, will the motor still turn over, or will it hydraulic and bust something, like fly wheel or rods?

Thanks

All kinds of answers for the "what if's"

Might turn over, might run, might lock up, might bend rods. My Gils leaked after the engine warmed up. Had small internal cracks. It created a lot of steam in the exhaust. It also caused an exhaust valve to become severely pitted from water getting in.

If they are new headers, then you should be fine for several years. Since you're in Salt, make sure to flush after every outing.

I shipped the Stellings from the CAT back to Stelling and they were pressure checked. They were fine on the dyno but one apparently was bumped and vapored big time over 4k rpm immediately after being installed. Luckily enough somebody was watching the gauges. We were quickly heading north of 120 when they vapor locked.

The Cig has the original Merc Gil's installed with the Hawk 600's. They are being replaced with CMI's as soon as we can pull off one header for a pattern.
