Question Handling Problem!

Today I was cruising around 45 miles per hour and hit the sticks, brought up the trim, wot as it got on top of the water it took a jerk to the right on a slight angle,,then as I brought the sticks back and slowed down around 45 mph it kicked back to the left where it was originally,, this has never happened before,, the only thing different about today was I changed to 4 blades instead of my usual three blades. Any help in this manner any reasoning for this change in the handle would make me more comfortable on my next outing.

Go back and try your 3 blade and see if it does it.

What boat???
Exactly what kinds of props are you running???

Most likely, its just a characteristic of the new prop.

Does your outdrive have any side to side slop or play?

Re: Handling Problem!

What boat and prop are we talking about?
4 Blades can give more transom lift which may make it handle differently.

That's what I was thinking. Could be a worn gimbal ring. Before I replaced my gimbal ring it would do what you described.
