Can side exhaust mufflers be replaced with tips?
A while back I pulled my mufflers and replaced them with stainless tips. Recently, a buddy of mine was looking at my setup and was thinking about maybe pulling the mufflers on his boat (a 2004 Chaparral 220SSI). We looked at his setup and saw that it doesn't looks as easy as on my 22ZX.
He has a Corsa side exhaust where the muffler is this small oval thing right at the hull behind the side exhaust tip. Is there something out there to replace these mufflers? Or is it probably not worth the effort for him?
