Default anyone seen rods like this?

I was at our local hillbilly machine shop,its unbelievable what kinda things come thru the door. Can anyone guess what production motor THESE rods are out of,Smitty

Just a wild guess. But with looks like an idler puller next to the rods. Maybe from a big Detroit diesel?

Its hard to see in the pic but they have a taper on the top of the small end w/full floating pins,Smitty

Here is an aluminum rod that you can run in your boat. Imagine a 6.385" rod in your 540 CID that weighed 570gms.
