Dana Marine HP1000's????
Does anyone on this board rebuild em? I purchased a new set from Dana because i wanted candy red and my old ones had a small amount of corrosion.
One of the rams needs to be rebuilt, otherwise they worked great. It seems a shame to put a strong product on a garage bench and not attempt to fix em.
Background I took them to Dana Marine and they convinced me to buy a new set (only because i wanted candy red)
These tabs are about 8 years old, in my opinion these were definitely worth the $$$$. The best part is that they have not changed that much unless you know the new patented hinge that Dana is claiming the difference.
thanks in advance.

Fred,
I brought em in and he kinda moved me toward the new setup so i bit. Also, on dana's defense i did want new candy red, and mine were black annodized so there was a lot of work involved.

dana sucks a##. i have blown out cylinders several times. at first they would at least try to repair or rebuild them, now they send me away with a handfull of parts and "o" rings. piece of crap design that allows the bottom pressure cylinder to bang against the snap ring....
expensive to begin with and expensive to maintain....buy something else....
